Sale of Hui O Laulima’s cultural cookbook, “Okinawan Mixed Plate: Generous

Okinawan artifacts: ceramics, glassware, lacquerware and textiles will
be on display. •
Uchinaaguchi (Okinawan language): Bookmarks and buttons bearing Okinawan
words and phrases will be available for purchase. •
Genealogy information provided by the Okinawan Genealogical Society
of Hawaii: come prepared with your family kanji. •
Calligraphy display and demonstration: Calligraphy writing of your family
name will be available for purchase. •
Display of ikebana flower arrangements by Nobuko Kida Sensei and her
Ikebana Ikenobu School students (classes are held every month at the
Hawaii Okinawa Center). •
Display of bonsai and silent auction by the Hawaii Bonsai Association. |
