| ISLAND OF OAHU | Golf>> The HUOA Invitational Golf Tournament
is scheduled for the Memorial Day weekend (May 29th & 30th
/ Sat. & Sun.) at the West Loch Golf Course. Applications
can be printed off of the HUOA
Web site, or pick-up applications at the HOC - ph. 676-5400.
This is one of the most popular tournaments year after year,
so don't wait, get an application
and a team together - lots of prizes, fun on the course, and
fellowship at the banquet on Saturday - May 30th, see you all
there!!!

| Bowling >> The Mixed Handi-cap Bowling League
just completed thirteen weeks of competition at Leeward Bowl.
So, if you got the time and want some fun and fellowship,
go on down to Leeward Bowl. Also, the
HUOA Mixed Bowling League is currently in the planning stage
of an Invitational Bowling Tournament to happen sometime this
year. The date, bowling alley,
and time will be announced on the sports website as soon as
more information is obtained from the HUOA Mixed Handi-cap
Bowling Committee.

| Softball >> The 14-Inch Slow-Pitch Softball League
resumes play this Sunday, April 25th at Halawa District Park.
The softball committee is asking all managers and coaches
to follow the April 25th schedule,
and the rain-out make games will be played on May 2nd. It's
going to be really interesting to resume play after having
two weeks off, all teams should
be very much in the running within their own divisions (The
League has three divisions - A, B, & C). Games starts
at 9 am with the last games being played
at 1:00 pm.

| Volleyball >> HUOA Mixed Volleyball League continues
their competition at Waipahu High School Gym every Sunday
8 am til 3:00 pm. They may very close to play-off's by now,
so you don't want to miss any
of the competition - get on down to WHS and support your club
team or teams, enjoy the fun and fellowship.

International Softball Tournament>> *Special Event, July 2nd & 3rd (Friday &
Saturday)
Hawaii United Okinawa Association International Invitational 14-Inch Slow-Pitch Tournament. *Entry commitments has been extended to May
31st 2004, so get the word out to all our members and get a team together,
or should you have small numbers of players, ask around, make calls, and
join-up with another club that also needs players. Lets make it the best
tournament in the state, and celebrate at our banquet at the Ala Moana
Hotel Rumors Night Club on Saturday, July 3rd - 4:00 pm til 8:30 pm. Tickets
are on sale for $12.00 per person for Heavy Pupu's (Children 10-yrs. and
under no-charge), No-Host Cocktails, Music, Dancing, Sharing the Aloha
Spirit and Fellowship with the Tournament Players, HUOA Members, Family,
and of course Friends/Guests.
*Remember, need not be a member to attend the Fellowship Banquet, purchase a $12.00 Ticket and you're in !!! E-mail the HUOA Sports Director, or Call the HOC on how to obtain/purchase tickets. |
