| ISLAND OF OAHU | Golf>> The H.U.O.A. Invitation Golf
Tournament went well, during the Memorial Day Weekend
at West Loch Golf Course, and a new champion was declared
without question.

Uyehara, from the Oroku Azajin Kai.

| Bowling >> The Mixed Handi-cap Bowling
League still continuing their year round season, and
will be ending in November 2004. So if you're looking
for competition, fun, and fellowship
go on down to the alley (Leeward Bowl), every Sunday
afternoon 1:30 pm to 4:30 pm.

| Softball >> The H.U.O.A. 14-Inch Slow
Pitch Softball League completed their season mid June,
and the Banquet was held at the Jikoen Temple. I like
to congratulate the H.U.O.A. LEAGUE
CHAMPION FOR 2004 - ITOMAN SHIJIN KAI (Overall League
Champion). Consolation
"A" champion - Gushichan Sonjin Kai / Consolation
"B" champion - Haneji, Congratulations to all the
division champions, and of course their supporters
that followed them through
the entire season.

| Volleyball >> The H.U.O.A. Mixed Volleyball
League ended their season early mid April and a champion
was declared along with a trophy ceremony at Waipahu
High School Gym. I like
very much to congratulate URASOE SHIJIN KAI for doing
a very fine job completing among all the other teams
throughout the entire season, and still held the position
till the end. Also, if you have not heard, Urasoe
is a repeating champion, they've been champions for
serveral years, so I recommend that all the other
teams to get together early before the start of the
new season in 2005, and practice, practice, practice.

| I like wish all our members, family,
and friends to have a safe and enjoyable 4th of July weekend
celebration. Also, please take a minute or two, and think of
our men and women in uniform whom protects our nation everyday
in a far away country, and hope for their safe return when their
tour is completed (Bless The U.S.A.).
