HUOA JOINS HONOLULU FESTIVAL PARADE

HUOA members donned the organization’s bright blue uchikake and marched down Kalakaua Avenue on March 11 as part of the Honolulu Festival parade. President Jimmy Iha and his fellow officers led the HUOA’s lively contingent of drummers from the Paranku Club of Hawaii and club representatives carrying the colorful HUOA club banners. The parade culminated with a fireworks show over Waikiki. Honolulu Festival events were held from March 9-11 at Honolulu Hale, the Hawaii Convention Center and Ala Moana Center.
