UCHINANCHU
DONATIONS Uchinanchu is our voice — the voice of the Hawaii United Okinawa Association, its members, and the “home” we all built together: the Hawaii Okinawa Center. By sharing information and experiences, Uchinanchu keeps us connected as a family, dedicated to preserving, sharing and perpetuating our Okinawan cultural heritage. HUOA received a total of $2,395.00 in contributions for Uchinanchu during the months of October, November and December 2001, and January 2002. Every dollar donated — along with the valuable income from advertising — helps offset the cost of publishing Uchinanchu. HUOA sends a heartfelt ippe nihei deebiru to the following donors, including seven from the Big Island, six from Maui and three from Kauai, and one each from Gardena and Torrance in California. Mahalo for keeping Uchinanchu alive and thriving. |
